Ensembles
Stockton Youth Chorale
This ensemble is open to boys and girls in grades 3 through 8 with unchanged voices. The requisite skills include matching pitch and a sense of key, which can be demonstrated in a quick and painless 5-minute audition with the director after a rehearsal.
This ensemble may be divided into the Treblemakers (grades 3 through 5) and the Concert Choir (grades 6 through 8) to better meet the skill levels of the singers. Generally, Treblemakers sing 1-2 part music and Concert Choir sings more complex 2-3 part music. Rehearsal times will be adjusted as necessary.
- Rehearsals: Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:30 pm, Central United Methodist Church, Choir Room, Stockton
Valley Youth A Cappella

Phase II of the audition will be accomplished during the first rehearsal with the entire ensemble reading, learning and singing new music together.

Health and Wellness Policies
MASK POLICY
The Stockton Chorale want to take proactive steps to protect our staff, singers, audience, and independent contractors from COVID-19 variants and to reduce the likelihood of COVID-19 transmission among these groups. The Stockton Chorale is making this decision out of an abundance of caution regarding the aerosol nature that singing naturally creates. All staff, singers, audience and independent contractors have the option to wear masks during all rehearsals and performances at this time.
SELF-ASSESSMENT
All singers in all groups must self-asses for COVID-19 symptoms prior to coming to rehearsal. Hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry and exit from the rehearsal and performance venues.
Have you experienced any of the following symptoms today? If so, please do not come to the Stockton Youth Chorale and/or Valley Youth A Cappella meeting, rehearsal or performance.
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
